Art Shows What Are They For?
Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012Amateur artist should know the importance of art competition for painting for beginners. Some artists are not favor of in joining art competitions because they don’t like the concept that somebody wins and the other loses because it gives the belief that the winner is a better artist compared with the rest.
For them art is a way of self expression and in expressing yourself there is no one who trumps the other. Since each artist is unique in expressing their creativity and dexterity so there is no way to judge which art work is better and which aren’t. However other artists who joined numerous art competitions have different point of perspectives.
For them joining a skill competition isn’t about winning and it is not about the prizes as their primary point of joining is to substantiate a link with other artists and make known to others their works of art. Art competitions are more than simply bagging the prizes as the majority of the artists who joins these competitions don't mind whether or not they win or lose.
They all joined art competitions to have a very good time and befriend other artists and share experiences with them. Art competitions should not be taken in a negative way if we are to take a look at it in a different point of view when an artist creates his or her art works she or he is locked up in a studio thus there is little likelihood that he or she will be well placed to meet with other artists.
Art competitions are one of the finest paths to know other artists by their styles, systems and philosophy in art. Art competitions is a form of gathering other artists together and its nature is to test each artist to form the best art work that they can make.
